Surf-N-Turf AfterSchool Program

Surf-N-Turf is a seasonal afterschool adventure program for youth ages 11-17. Participants will engage in surfing, hiking, and cultural learning while developing teamwork, confidence, and resilience.

Dates: Every Wednesday in February

(February 4, 11, 18, & 25)

Time: 1:00-5:00

Cost: FREE

(max. 12 participants per session)

Details: Transportation & Gear Provided

  • 1:00 Pick Up locations TBD

  • 2-3:30 Surf/Hike

  • 5:00 Drop Offs TBD

Location: Depends on Waves

  • Ukumehame Beach Park or Guardrails

  • If no waves: ʻĪao Valley hike

Activities include:

  • Surf therapy with skilled instructors

  • Hiking through Maui's lush landscapes

  • Place-based learning rooted in Hawaiian values

  • Mindfulness exercises & team-building activities
